It can take some time to adjust to a more independent lifestyle, but you will figure it out. As a student, developing essential life skills is as important as working on academic skills – it makes studying easier and you will profit from it for the rest of your life.

• Tie a suit tie

• Recycle different materials
• Prepare a healthy meal
• Basic sewing, for example sew on a button
• Read a map and follow directions without using GPS
